Q.	Rafting during monsoons?

Hello all,
I am planning to go to rishikesh for river rafting around 29th June. Is this the best time to go? Will the rafting camps be closed due to monsoons? Where should I call and ask the question? Also I went through a similar post and found out roofnride.com was recommended. Are there any other agents for economic, 1N/2D stay?

WE did rafting in june 2011 in vyas river kullu,water was chilling
but i dont think rafting in rainy season is possible

Hi Swathi,

We went rafting by March and it was very nice. But I don't know exactly about the monsoon in June end. In May -June is best season for Chardham trip. About Monsoon and Camp You can check with the Highest Adventure( Agent) on 9410921703, 9758823838. They charged me Rs.250/ per person for the short Rafting(90 minutes)

Swati..Its a bit late and too close to monsoons in the north..and in monsoons the Camps generally pack up as the river tide and levels increase and cover the beach altogether.River rafting is closed in monsoons and not advisable.Best time Sept -March .Try Jassi at j2 adventures.com-Tapas
