Answers to travel information on
Bangalore in Karnataka
You have got lot of good replies.
A list of places that you can visit near (but outside) Bangalore are listed in my MEMBERS INTERVIEW for Nov. month, in this web site. Just see this link
You will be staying at B'lore till 27th Jan. There will be a flower show during Republic (& Independence) day time at Lalbagh. Normally it starts around 20th Jan or so. It is worth a visit. It is around 15km from jalahalli. There will be lot of rush during holidays as well as during day-time, evening time.
But there will not be much rush during morning jogging/walking hours (upto 8am). So try to be there around 7am to see it liesurely (and there will not be any entrance fees at that time!!
) If you can not make it at that time, then avoid rush hours. Camera/camcorders are allowed.Report Abuse
I can say that there are lots of places where u can go around Bangalore not in Bangalore like WonderLa( Amusement Park), Kabini ( Jungle resorts..good place to visit). Then u have Mysore, Ooty, Wayanad. Because u are almost on 20-21 days tour so u can easily visit these places. Place which is very near to Bangalore is only Nandi Hills .Apart from that u don't have much options in Bangalore apart from Malls :).
Hope u have a nice stay in Bangalore.

There are a lot of scenic places/water falls close to Bangalore. You can find a few travelogues and details in following websites,
You can finish Bangalore sight-seeing in 1-2 days. You can see vidhan soudha, lal bagh, cubbon park, zoo, vishveshwaraya museum, planetorium, musical fountain etc. You can go for full day sight seeing bus which will cover all these places in 1 day itself . Another day you can just go around seeing all shopping malls in the city. Infact there are bmtc buses just for shopping malls. Report Abuse
