Q.	Kalka to Shimla by road (car) ... is it safe?

How is the road from Kalka to Shimla? Is it safe to travel during night on this route?
Also, how steep is the road and are there lot of dangerous curves/turns?

Thanks guys. Will update this post once I return from Shimla.
I will be driving to Shimla from Pune next week in my Tata Estate and will be returning back in the second week of Jan.

Agree with MISTRAL, beautiful road. its easy to drive on hills during night. However, try to return in day light. very beautiful landscape.

. Fill petrol & drive.

very good road,, even its one of the best hill route in India.
Night Bus service (from Delhi & many other places)continuing everyday/week/month without any problem,, and its the safest road also :)
