To go directly in your own vehicle, u can go to JNTU from Kukatpally, take a left to the hi-tec city flyover, come down the flyover and go right to Kondapur, from Kondapur junction take a left which will bring you to the gacchi bowli signal, - you can also take alternately the straight road from Kukatpally past Miapur and take the next left to come via Hafizpet to the Kondapur junction - go straight till reti bowli, turn right towards and pass langar house, keep going until you reach a major left turn, (you will find a board indicating the turning). after this turn just follow the road till you find a board and a kamaan indicating a small turn on the right. look out for swaminarayan gurukul on the left. the turning is just before the gurukul. the road then winds its way to chilkur and is pretty easy to find. the road ends at the temple. anywhere on the way if you have a doubt, just ask anybody. everyone on the route will be able to guide u

Dear Mr. Raju,

There is no direct bus from Kukatpally to Chilkur. You have to first come to Mehdipatnam. You can take a 19K or any bus that goes to Mehdipatnam from your place. From Mehdipatnam, there are many ways in which you can go to the temple. APSRTC buses bearing service number 288D take you directly to the temple, and the frequency of the buses is every 15 minutes. There are also many sharing autos available for you to go to the temple.

Alternatively, you can get in touch with the local APSRTC guys at Kukatpally as there are some special buses put in by them during the weekends that take you directly to the temple. However, please keep in mind that there will be huge rush at the temple during the weekends.

All the best for your journey.

Regards,
Pravallika

go via ameerpet, to punjagutta, turn right into banjara hills, go right up till masab tank, turn right, go to mehdipatnam, turn right, till reti bowli, (past the turn for the outer ring road) turn left towards and past langar house, keep going until you reach a major left turn, (you will find a board indicating the turning). after this turn just follow the road till you find a board and a kamaan indicating a small turn on the right. look out for swaminarayan gurukul on the left. the turning is just before the gurukul. the road then winds its way to chilkur and is pretty easy to find. the road ends at the temple. anywhere on the way if you have a doubt, just ask anybody. everyone on the route will be able to guide you on.
