NO TRAINS GOES FROM NIZAMUDDIN. You can also take a train from Sarai Rohilla Railway
Station in New Delhi to Loharu Station. The departure timings of trains at Sarai Rohilla
Station are 8.50 A.M, 9.15 P.M & 11.00 P.M. Loharu is 25 km away from Pilani. Buses
and jeeps are available from Loharu to Pilani. The BITS campus is very close to the
Pilani bus stand.

This place is in Rajasthan so it is better from Nizamuddin you go to Dhuala Kuan by an auto rickshaw and take a bus from there. Have a great journey.

Pilani/Rajasthan :
a. From Nizammudin, take a rickshaw for "BIKANER HOUSE". you will get several AC/NON AC and VOLVO buses for Jaipur from Bikaner House,Nr. India Gate
b. Volvo (DELHI-JPR) takes is approx. 5.5 Hrs
c. You can approach PF # 5 of JPR bus stand for a bus going towards Pilani.JPR-Pilani is approx. 5 hrs.
If you wish to take a pvt bus then can approach any of the road side travel agent shop. There are so many such vendors just opp. to the JPR bus stand (a.k.a. SINDHI CAMP)

If you wish to take a express bus from Delhi then you can take one from SARAI KALE KHAN BUS STAND or from ISBT, Kashmere Gate.You will find buses from both the terminals;

PS : You may find jams between DELHI & JPR due to road widening work near BEHROR.Depending upon at what time you reach Nizammudin, you may plan to book a ticket in Train for reaching JPR. Then can follow pt # c listed above. JPR RLY - JPR BUS STND = 2 Km | INR 20.

Bon Voyage

Hi Anita,

Noida, Sector 1 has got a satellite centre of BITS Pilani Campus ? Do you intend to reach that centre ?
If that is what you want then here are the directions via metro :

a. At Nizammudin Rly Stn take the Sarai Kale Khan Exit (towards PF # 7)
b. Take a Rickshaw for INDRAPRASTHA metro station
c. Purchase a metro token for "Noida sector 15"
d. The Noida campus of BITS Pilani is 2 mins walk from Noida Sector 15 station.

The Landmark near BITS Pilani Noida Campus is "GOL CHAKKAR" & "INDIAN OIL BUILDING"

You can also think of directly taking an auto rickshaw for "GOL CHAKKAR" NOIDA. It should cost you approx. 100 Rs. from Sarai Kale Khan exit of Nizammuding Rly station.

If you intend to reach Pilani in Rajasthan then watch out my next response;

Bon Voyage

Hi Anitha,

BITS Library is in Pilani Rajasthan about 186km from Nizamuddin station. I will suggest you can board a cab and that will cost you around 3500 to 4000 from Delhi to BITS and back to delhi, if you have any query call me on xxxxxxxxxx. (Personal Contact information removed by Moderator)

Hi Anitha,

BITS Pilani is in Rajasthan. there are regular buses from ISBT (Near Old Delhi railway Station). You may take an auto/Metro from Nizamuddin and go to ISBT bus station. There are regular buses from there to Pilani. It is about 5-6 hrs journey.
Alternatively you may get a train in the morning from Delhi Sarai Rohilla for Loharu (3 hrs) and from there Pilani is again by bus 23 km (half an hour). You may choose the route convenient to you.

anitha,

if you can take a Metro from Delhi, and get off at M.G. Road train station in Gurgaon, you can ask a cab (inter city) to pick you up from there and take you to BITS, Pilani. From M.G. Road, you will start driving towards the Manesar toll booth, and from there, a U Turn, and then, towards BITS Pilani. From M.G.Road Train Station in Gurgaon, BITS should be about 210 kms.

Surinder Yadav has a taxi service, and his number is +91-9911559185, and I have done business with him in the past.

Hope this helps.

Hi Anitha,

BITS is not inside Delhi. It is in a city called Pilani, which is in Rajasthan, about 200 to 220 kms from Delhi.

Since Pilani is not in Delhi/NCR region, it is not serviced by the Delhi Metro. Would be better if yuo checked the BITS Pilani official website for directions to reach them. Their description is quite extensive http://www.bits-pilani.ac.in/contact.html?sub=reach&ht=1120
