Answers to travel information on
New Delhi in Delhi
Best way to reach Nirankari colony from Airport as of today is - Take a prepaid taxi from Airport and reach Nirankari colony.
Metro on this route is still not operational and changing the conveyance at multiple points is not advisable.
As for prepaid taxi you can get it from Booth inside the Arival terminal there are two options:
1. Get non AC taxi (Black Yellow) from Delhi traffic police booth.
2. Get AC radio Taxi from either - Meru Cab or Easy Cab booth inside the terminal. (The Safest and recommended mode of transport for a person new in Delhi.)
Please never try to take cab or auto from outside the Airport premises.

hello, till now metro rail travels between airport to new delhi railway station only. so you can alight at new delhi station and from there you can take prepaid TSR or TAXI to go to nirankari colony.

Hi,
You have to switch metro at rajiv chowk, take the yellow line towards Vishwavidyalay and a taxi/auto from kashmere gate. You can refer below map

Have a nice trip

Dear Manas,
Better take a prepaid cab from the airport to Nirankari Colony..why travel in> direction when you can go straight from airport. SInce Metro wd not be operational by then.

Hi,
@ Walk Like an Egyptian... Friend, I guess the route suggested by you is a bit 'round about'. First, though Dwarka Metro Station is just 5 km away, you wont be having a direct train to Patel Chowk from Dwarka. Second, to go to Patel Chowk (undertandably to beat the rush)you would have to change trains at Rajiv Chowk. If I were to disembark at Rajiv Chowk, i would instead of going towards Patel Chowk, Board a trian in the opposite direction towards Jahangirpuri and get down at GTB Nagar. Third, still better, I would save time if I got off at Rajauri Garden and boarded a DTC Bus instead, on the Ring Road towards Kingsway Camp (GTB Nagar). I would save both on time and money. Just some permutations and combinations

Cheers!!

I would differ with Manuj regarding the final disembarking point. I travel on this line regularly and GTB Nagar (not "any where between Model Town and Jahangirpuri") is the station to alight to go to Nirankari Colony. One gets unlimited busses and shared autos ferrying passengers from GTB Nagar Station to Nirankari Colony and Burari...

hi..no you will not able to use airport express line.it may start running after mid of november.its better to take taxi to hauz khas metro station from there metro goes direct to vishwavidhalya.

Unfortunately there is little hope of the IGI airport Metro link to commence before Nov 15 . Next best alternative is to take a prepaid cab to Dwarka Metro station about 5 kms away . Board a metro , change at Patel Chowk to Viswavidyalaya line . Get down at Viswavidyalaya Metro station and take a metro feeder line bus ML06 worth Rs 10=00 to Nirankari Colony , another 5kms approx away . You can hire an auto also from Viswavidyalaya station.

The airport metro line is not yet operational. You still need to take the prepaid taxis at the airport.

My Dear frnd, the airport metrolink is starting trials in the first week of november. hence very few chances of getting one.
But in any case if it is operational by then, in that case you will have to change the metro at Rajiv Chowk. From Rajiv Chowk you may catch the Jehangirpuri Metro. and get down anywhere between Model Town to Jehangirpuri.

Hi,
I'm not sure if the Metro Airport link connection will be operational by then. However, if the operation starts by then, GTB Nagar just after Vishwavidyalay would be the nearest Metro Station Near Nirankari Colony. But you'll need to change metros from airport line to the the normal one going toward Jahangirpuri at New Delhi Metro Station. It may take you between 15 to 20 minutes to reach GTB Nagar Station from New Delhi metro Station.
