Hi, please suggest some suitable trains to reach Chennai from Bangalore. Also, I need to know which is nearest hotel close to Apollo Hospital, Chennai? Please help.

Can u be pls specific about the area of the appollo hospital and also the duration of your stay and no of person going to stay in hotel. based on that one can help u to find a proper train and also find proper and suitable hotel for you.

Hi

You could take the lalbagh, morning shatabdi which would get you to chennai by noon. Or the chennai mail which would arrive at chennai by 5am. There are many apollo hospitals in chennai (the main one is in Greams road near mount road and there are other ones near Nandanam). You could possibly check the Hotel Mary's/Savera which are on Radhakrishnan Salai/Cathedral Road and about 3-4 km from these hotels. All the best.

There 3-4 trains to Chennai in the nite,starting fm Cauvery exp fm Mysore to Chennai followed by Mail and on fridays,there is a friday nite special and on other days,the trains from Bangalore to Guwahati/Howrah also pass trhu Chennai.
The nearest hotel to Apollo is Hotel Sindoori

Reg the Trains, the best would be to check it on cleartrip. Use this URL http://www.cleartrip.com/trains/results?from_city=Bangalore&to_city=Chennai&class=SL&date=dd-mm-yyyy&adults=1&children=0&male_seniors=0&female_seniors=0

You can get off at Egmore Station and Apollo Hospital(which I presume is in Nungambakkam, Greams road is about 20 minutes from Egmore)
