Q. Manali weather in fourth or fifth week of September?

Hi, I am planning to visit Manali in 4th or 5th week of September . Can you please let me know how would the weather of Manali be then? I am looking forward to see snow, but not sure if it'll be possible. Would Rohatang Pass be open and covered with snow. Is it worth visiting Manali then?

That will be of help to me!Thanks a lot !
However I see that applebud cottage will go above my budget. .I will probably need to look for medium budget hotels or luxury hotels in a slightly cheapter suite.

One question out of interest , are u a resident of Manali ?

Kind Regards,
RDH.

reply above is correct... he/she is absolutely right. Visiting Manali at that time would be fine but it would be a rainy season there. Do visit Solang valley for paragliding and take a rough road bike ride from there upto tunnel point, there you can enjoy snow.

The pass will be open, there will most probably be no snow. However, there are short rides from there on pony, from where you could see snow.
Even without snow, Manali is well worth visiting, ether's lots to see around and it is a naturally pretty place. Be prepared for rains though, it will be chilly at night.

To see snow, Gulmarg would be the right place.
