Priya, if you like lonely and calm Place then you can go Fagu( 22 Kmfrom Shimla)and Chail . Himachal Pradesh is a very safe place and I have visited many times with my family .There is no problem if you are alone. In Fagu & Shimla You can booK Himachal tourism Hotels.
But You Can enjoy more if you have One more person with You.
Cheers

Hi !
There are lots of places that you can visit alone.
It would have been good if you would have specified the region where you want to go.
I believe that in every region of India there are places where you can travel solo. Only the thing you should keep in mind that do not immediately trust any unknown person for whtever reason . also see that do not reaveal your trip plans to any unknown. You can enjoy a lot in India.
I can help you in choosing the destinations if you have any specific region ( for example MP, Maharashtra , Gujrat etc. ) to see.

Thanks,

Hi Priya
Where from you are? If you want to go to Shimla in this month you may get rain but it is ok. Do you like lonely place or crowded? I think you like lonely place then you should go to Sarahan and Kalpa. Those are all safe place & I am telling Himachal Pradesh is a very safe place. There is no problem if you are alone. But you should not miss Sarahan & Kalpa. Stay in Himachal Pradesh tourism hotel in Sarahan & Kalpa. It is excellent.

I think Shimla would be better - thing is that if ur alone and go to Goa there is nothing much to do except go to the beach, drink and dance - if that's ur idea of soloing that is.

Shimla in and around offers a lot of variety - especially when you can team up with complete strangers to go on hiking, biking, camping or safari in a forest. Plus this time of the year, the weather in Goa would be less than welcoming.

Hope that helps
