Once I booked Railway retiring room at ooty price was 350/- for one day and it was such a gr8 experience staying at that place yarr really good, no disturbance nothing!!

I been to station master of ooty and asked for it, at the first instance he refused bunno what was the reason, but after 10 mins. his men came to us and helped us as said it will charge u 350/- for one day we agreed and got the room. For the second days booking go again to station master at chech out time and book room on name of other person with u or else they will charge u 25% more to the normal charges

As you know generally u will have to put ur foot on the shoes to book that and give some scarey reason like I am not getting room, tomorrow I will have to catch train etc. etc.

Single bedroom (common bath) at Rs. 265/- per room and double bedded AC room with attached bath at Rs. 850/- per room (Tariff inclusive of breakfast). Similarly, accommodation in dormitories is available on daily tariff of Rs. 135/- per bed (Tariff inclusive of breakfast) depending upon different facilities.
