Q. Ooty - Best Season

Hello there.... Am thinking to spend this Christmas holidays somewhere in the south may be Ooty or Kodaikanal....Just wanted to know which will be the most appropriate season to be at Ooty or places around.... Is traveling there in December fine...?

winters are usually preferred fr travel to south India and since access to Kodai and Ooty is from Coimbatore..(unrelenting in the summer months) it makes good sense to visit them in winters too.. and if you wish you could also do some of the coastal areas of Kerala which are pretty close with nice weather that time of the year..all the best

appropriate time is anytime during the winters, December included :) ..Ooty tends to get crowded in the months of April thru June..rest is ok..winter especially is a good time to visit the place..(good to avoid new yrs eve though)..
