We started early morning for Guhaghar went through Mulshi route. The roads are not that good and takes long time saving the potholes. I would recommend take the satara route, roads are superb and saves time/ fatigue. It took approx 5 hours but was worth on reaching there.

We stayed at Rajgadh they serve veg/non-veg food and has good stay arrangement. There are other locals who rent their bungalows/ rooms that too is good choice. It should cost you between Rs. 300-400 for non-a/c and a/c Rs. 600-800. Lush greenery all around and relaxing atmosphere is something i die for... We tired chicken, seafood, snack good quality and cheaper but ya dont expect ambience and luxury here.

Beach is just 5 mins walk through garden of coconut trees leaving you on white sands. I hope people maintain the cleanliness and beauty here. Initially we thought of staying for 2 days but later extended to 4 days just relaxing and being with nature. You may also visit the ENRON project but not sure if they permit visitors.

Overall nice trip and looking forward to go back :)

Thanks
Amit

Thanks Milind for your suggestion. Here u go... You dont have too many choice to visit around Guhaghar there is ENRON project & fishing port. To visit ENRON you need to take permission or have any contact there. For shopping - coconuts, masala, supari, pickles etc... This place is for relaxation and having good food. Some restaurant we tried are Rajgadh, home made food are also available on request you get to see boards(we didnt try this option), a famous hotel next to ST stand well known for sea food. sorry buddy i dont remember the name. You may ask anyone and they can guide u. Its a small place.

More details of sightseeing places around Guhagar would have been appreciated. Also some tips about good restaurants/places to eat would have been of some help. And ofcourse what to shop list was missing.
