Travelogues

I visited Manali from 4th sept`07 to 7th sept`07 with my wife,daughter and parents.It was a wonderful destination for a family trip.Manali`s beauty is that it is a hill station and also having river,waterfalls in a same place.We reached Manali by HPTDC volvo bus from Delhi.We stayed in hotel The orchard greens which is a perfect place and a good value for money.The hospitality and the rooms are very good.The best part of manali trip is the morning walk where you interact with pure nature.It is also best way to get to know Manali better.We also visited Rohtang pass where the journey was adventerous.The cab was arranged by the Hotel.The driver Chottu is an experienced hill driver.Once reached the top of Rohtang,it was a total spiritual experience.The beauty is you interact with pure element of nature.The top was 15000ft above sea level.From there you coold also see valleys nearby and origin of beas river.We also visited Naggar,Hadimba temple,Vashist temple and enjoyed the visit.Some of the good hotels are Johnson`s cafe,Mayflower but they are also expensive.To have a taste of south Indian,Swamiji`s madras cafe is there in the market.Hope sometime again we will like to visit Manali again
