Photo Description: Sungri is located straight in line to Narkanda & Baggi... and is on the same forested ridge... this place is approached through the less used upper Hindustan-Tibet road or can also be approached from Rohru and Hatkoti... this is how narkanda must have been 20 yrs back... same elevation, same forests... but just a few tea shops as of now...

@krishnanamesake.... .really, you've been there too, when was this??? this place - Sungri - has a old wooden structured PWD rest-house....wanted to stay there... but the place was too cold and all my clothes were somewhat wet with the continuing drizzle...... had gone there on my bike..... you can even see her parked on the left sifde of the road...... ......i had a quick tea and descended down to Rampur... which was nowhere near... 3hrs it took me driving on all that slush...

I am so impressed with this detail. I was suffering from the misconception that only lost sould like me would ever stumble upon these fairy-tale places. really manu, this is such a nice shared memory
