Local garments & toys (imported from China) are really cheap here. I bought some embrLocal garments & toys (imported from China) are really cheap here. I bought some ladies suite pieces which had fabulous needle work and were very cheap as well.

Right Manu, it seems really hillarious truckloads going up and people bringing them back ha ha, really funny. On a serious note fresh air, loads of happiness and simplicity is what we desperately need in the metros.

Like the pic becuase is really sums up the state of the mall in the summers. truly crowded, good thing is that you still get great bun-tikki here:) makes it worth the walk,. I always stay on the far more fresh and charming Landour area, which BTW is just a km away from the mall

shopping in the hills has in my eyes been a wasteful exercise... i mean seeing all these truckloads of goods being transported uphill,,, and then the tourists bringing those down with them as they return from their weekend breaks.... alls that worth bringing back from the hills is a lungfull of fresh air.. :-) by the way, i love the sunny weather in this pic... the market is -despite everything - very lively :-)
