....this building just ahead of the shopping street is now a heritage hotel... ideal for a stay in the heart of Kasauli..though a little cramped on space... If one is looking for bigger resorts to stay in, one has the option of looking just outside of Kasauli town..

..places become special when good memories are attached to them.. ..I can relate to this feeling-for-the-place of your's :) I've had similar feelings for not-this-place, but other places in Himachal...and elsewhere :) ...just a few days back an uncle of mine, who's settled abroad wrote to me saying how much he likes watching my photos as i travel all over the northern hills..doing so, he says, takes him back to his days, his trips (solo or w/family) to the place.. :) My Uncle, u & me... all sailing in the same sentimental boat ;)

Gr8 capture and a gr8 place to be in clam and quiet and just so enchanting when accompanied by a gentle drizzle.. reminds me of the the time I was there. have you tried walking about in Kasauli at night...? Another experience althogether... :)(
