Kothi Heritage, as the name suggests is a heritage property built in 1888 by Bachraj Ji Singhvi. It is now run as
a hotel by his 2 great grandsons; Tapan and Trideep
Singhvi. It has managed to retain its old charm both
in terms of the property and its owners and the team running it. Simple people with good intentions to make you feel at home.
The breakfast is served in a small garden at the rear of the building. There is usually a gang of sparrows tweeting and 4 kittens playing around that it really makes you forget that you are in a hotel. The rooms are cozy and the bathroom has all what you might need during your stay. It was indeed a pleasure sitting in the garden reading the newspaper and sipping coffee, just as you would do it in your own home.
Just outside the Hotel you can catch an Auto rickshaw so you are never far away from the city.
While checking out both the brothers came out to see us off. A truly heart touching experience as we felt that we were actually moving out of our near and dear’s home and not from a hotel.
Thank you Tapan and Trideep for making this truly memorable holiday.
Good team running the hotel and ambiance.
I wish there was a shower curtain in the toilet.
