During my recent visit to Jaipur with my Colombian friend, i statyed in Umaid Bhawan. It was far above my expectation. Infact it was really good. Architecture, rooms, services everything was awesome. Infact my Colombian friend loved it. Overall it is an economical amazing hotel to stay.

The hotels architecture is Amazing, old heritage look. The hotels locations is in the vicinity and very close to city in Bani Park area next to collectrate. The hotels roof top restaurant is too good and even food is amazing. The rooms are really perfect with all amenities. The swimming pool is really good and clean.

Almost no negatives. Totally Loved it

Its location is the best thing Its in the posh locality away from husle of thr city , local market is walking distance and most of the places around are in ease the place has a roof top restaurant that serves indian as well as german , israeli food which is a good option. The hotel is very well maintained and front desk is very helpful as well . The rooms are kept nice and clean the roofs and walls have the rajasthani hand paint on them which gives the heritage look The hotel also has a small swimming pool which is very well maintained as well. The lobby of the hotel has painting and antiques from all over rajasthan. The owner himself keeps in touch with the visitors as well . they also have computer acess.

The best i liked is the hotel food they have roof top restaurant which serves very good food. They also have live cooking . the room service is excellent . The hotel also has a small swimming pool which is very well maintained as well. The lobby of the hotel has painting and antiques from all over rajasthan. The owner himself keeps in touch with the visitors as well . they also have computer acess.

OVERALL GOOD. MANAGEMENT COULD NOT PROVIDE ACCOMODATION IN UMAID BHAWAN(10 & 11 OCT.'08).BUT ACCOMODATED IN UMAID MAHAL.ACOMODATION & FOOD SATISFACTORY. ON RETURN (18 & 19 OCT'08) UMAID BHAWAN ROYAL SUITE WAS BOOKED AND SAME ACCOMODATION WAS PROVIDED. THE A/C OF THE ROOM WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND HAD TO TO CALL THE RECEPTION SEVERAL TIMES. DUE TO SOME SHORT CIRCUIT A/C WAS TRIPPING EVERY NOW AND THEN. SAME PROBLEM WAS NOT RECTIFIED TILL CHECK OUT. FOOD SATISFACTORY. LOCATION WISE CONVENIENT.

THE PAINTINGS AND DECORATION OF THE HOTEL.THE BEHAVIOUR OF THE STAFF.

UMAID BHAWAN DOES NOT HAVE AN INHOUSE BAR WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO BE A MUST IN A STAR CATEGORY HOTEL.

very good

It provided us with an authentic Rajasthan feeling with well carved furnitures and luxury rooms. Helped to provide a luxurious touch to our trip rather than staying in a typical suite. Was happy to get a discounted price from makemytrip as well

The size and look of the reception was not upto the mark for a good first impression. Also the location of rooms and lifts are little confusing.
