My friends had come from mumbai and wanted to stay in some decent hotel near my house. I recommended them cross roads inn looking at the good reviews. my friends also liked the first look of the hotel and we went by other people's reviews about this hotel. after checking in the the room, we started finding its problems. They have two single beds in the room. The bed are like normal single bed without any attraction. This hotel is not very good for couples since they join the two beds on request. the bathroom appears nice on the first look but there is nothing to talk about it. They have provided other amenities like air conditioner and bathroom toiletries. Bathroom toiletries were also just basic ones. The room service was good but the waiter kept knocking our door till 10:30 pm for ordering the dinner since they take the last dinner order at 10:30 pm. while checking out, the management charged us for a towel and a bed sheet because there was a nail polish stain on it.

Nothing after having such a bad experience

I haven't seen any hotel charging the customers for minor stains on the bedsheets or towels. Some hotels charge you if you take the towel along with you but my friends had to pay for the towel because it had nail polish stain on it.

The hotel is situated in jp nagar, very much accessible from south bangalore. Nice, clean with good ambiance. I booked executive room, the room was spacious, neat and was having all the promised amenities.

The hotel is built amidst residential area, that's why you won't find a good reception and lobby.

Located in south bangalore, the hotel is a little away from the city centre and during traffic time it takes atleast 1 hour to reach other important locations. Its 3-hours away from the airport during traffic time. Service quality and food is very much acceptable. Overall very good value for money.

No sound dampening, either in the room or the hotel. If the door of the next room is shut, it will surely wake you up. Even from the windows, lot of outside noise leaks inside. The curtains should've been heavier and thicker. People on reception are very inexperienced. They don't really try to understand what the guest is saying. I had hired a cab from the hotel for the full day. It had specifically discussed with them how much i had to pay when i would leave the cab at the airport after my city work was over but the cabbie created a ruckus at the airport and when i called the hotel, they didn't try to understand what i was saying. Sick of their attitude i had to pay what the cabbie demanded. After a reasonably satisfying stay at the hotel, i was disgusted with this incident.

The overall services of the hotel were good but i think they should maintain a list of available channels and there location in tv set so as to reduce the time required for surfing.
