Dona sylvia is one of the best resorts i have stayed in - the ambience, (esp) the food and the cleanliness are at international standards. The service too is good to great.
the crowd is majorly consisted of foreigners, so it itself explains the kind of service they would be wanting to sustain. Kudos to this place!
I had gone there for my honeymoon and like all honeymooners, we wanted a soft, romantic place with a lot of privacy. We got much more than we wanted. The location - south goa - is itself beautiful and this resort made it look all the more fabulous. This resort is located at the beautiful cavelossim beach, where the sand feels so soft n slippery and non-sticky. We fell in love with the food and the kind of fun events they organize for their guests. They have two classes to their cottages and even the economic one is a great one.
we recommend this resort to anybody who's going to goa and would love to stay there over n over again!
There's nothing that we disliked about dona sylvia. However, they can have a better gym and service. Dont' worry, service is good, it just can be a little better.
