A mixed bag really!, leaning towards the good bits but not yet there. I am sure looking at the current lack of water in udaipur lakes the pictures on the website have been photo shopped. location - considering udaipur is a pretty small city with respect to the sights to see all city palace centric, this hotel was about 20 minutes away from the railway station by autorickshaw. One could reach the city palace by walking through some interesting bits of town in about 15-20minutes. It was located on the swaroop sagar lakefront quality of service - the staff and the manager were rather friendly and amiable creatures. They even wanted to make us sit outside in the heat with a umbrella for breakfast when we arrived! though the room had a telephone, but no stickers or menus indicating room service nos. food - we only had breakfast which was very well prepared fresh and like what one would get at home. No frills food and beverage. They do not have a liquor license yet though.

	Staff politeness good almost homely food, calm envrions (apart from the unavoidable local garba nite). Rooms were clean and well maintained, so were the toilets. Some nice design touches like stone ledges in rooms, courtyard... I would say it is good value for money hands down

	The hotel has been well marketed on the website..., the water level shown in the swaroop sagar lake is a sure shot exaggeration!. And also the bathroom would flood with water when anybody would have a bath, the bed was kind of sagging because one of the beams was broken when we came in. No table lamps in our room
