The place is really nice. You sort of get the feeling you're at a five star hotel. Then again, you think, "naaah!". I was there as a part of a delegation at a conference and it was a rather comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
The staff are extremely courteous. The rooms are suitably sized. The beds comfy. The balconies ample. Well appointed, overall.
The pool was being repaired. The bass from the music being played at poolside events tends to rattle the windows just a wee bit (but not to anyone's inconvenience, i noticed).
but here's the best story. I happened to sprain my ankle at the hotel (completely my fault). I thought nothing of it until just after midnight when the pain really hit. My friend asked for a crepe bandage. We were brought a band-aid! we then repeated our request and asked for some ice too. The ice was brought promptly. The crepe bandage soon after!
the problem was that the bandage was obviously used. And we were politely asked to return it the following morning! enough said!
