Hotel Sinclairs Ooty has an extremely beautiful villa which overlooks the Blue Mountains. The villa came attached with a bathroom and facilities for TV, and even a coffee maker! We enjoyed our meal at Pine n’ Petals, the multi cuisine restaurant. The staff members were quite co-operative and friendly.

The hotel is very neat and clean.Even the staff is polite.Food is very good. All this made our stay very memorable.I liked the ambience of the hotel and ofcourse the location.its in a very secluded place in the midst of the greenery.Even the rooms are comfortable and clean.In short a very good hotel, infact one of the best hotel in Ootacmund. Overall an enjayable experience

We had to do a quick job of wedding. Such was the pressure that my wife and I had to make a dash for Bangalore where we have our offices. How much did we crave for it, there was no time available for honeymoon. So one weekend we decided to go for our honeymoon to Ooty. We took 2 extra days off from work as well. On browsing online, we came across Hotel Sinclairs, and we liked it instinctively. We booked a honeymoon suite for us. Sinclairs arranged for our pick up at the Coimbatore airport. The hotel I must say looked beautiful and inviting in the twilight. A friendly staff member guided us to our nicely done up suite. The flowers placed in our room made it so much more lovely which gave us a feeling of being special. The view of the Nilgiris from our balcony was breathtaking. A special candlelight dinner was arranged for us. The food was good and we enjoyed the meal. The hotel didn’t spare any efforts to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

We explored Ooty during the day and tried our hand at the various games in their indoor games room in the afternoon. What a pleasure it was to take a stroll in the hotel garden! The hotel made a nice gesture by giving us a memento and wishing us well as we took leave. We really appreciate their efforts in making our honeymoon so wonderful. I loved the attention the hotel staff gave us and made our honeymoon even more special.

The hotel is located at a hilltop, which is around 4 kms from Ooty city centre. Superb location for honeymooners and for those who want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, beware of the room service, one portion of plain stemed rice will cost you 125 bucks. And the travel desk is a nuisance, calls you at unearthly timings and charges look very decent but better to have all the prices in written consent. On the flip side, wont get 24x7 hot water running, unless the hotel has got a minimum occupancy. (What the hell! I had to suffer one day

starting from the reception the way they received us was very nice .. the moment i said i had made the reservation through MMT they did not show any surprise and they were well informed about us that was really nice.. the hotel was really nice and it is located in a hill and it is completely isolated from the rest of the world.. the hotel sinclairs had a nice garden with a good children playing area.. they had ducks in the garden which was really surprising and my little daughter really enjoyed it.. they have a good indoor games section.. moreover the hotel staff were very couteous which is really good.. the daily travel arrangements they made was excellent..
