Located on Gorishola Road, Hotel Sinclairs is a 4 star property lies 110 kilometres away from the Coimbatore airport, 8 kilometres from the Ooty (formerly Udhagamandalam) railway station and 5 kilometres away from the Ooty bus stand.

Room Amenities: The Hotel 88 rooms are divided into 84 Standard rooms and 4 Suites.The facilities common to all the rooms are the all latest amenities with 24 hr room service with basic comforts as well.

Dining: The dining facilities include High Point Bar which is open from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. It only serves Indian alcohol and multi cuisine appetizers. Pines & Petals is the multi cuisine restaurant which offers other delicious dishes.

Hotel Facilities: Other services offered by Hotel Sinclairs include The Shop gift shop that sells various other gift items is open from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. Onwards, a travel desk, car parking facility, car rental, laundry, doctor on call and acceptance of credit cards.

The hotel is located at a hilltop, which is around 4 kms from ooty city centre. superb location for honeymooners and for those who want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. however, beware of the room service, one portion of plain stemed rice will cost you 125 bucks. and the travel desk is a nuisance, calls you at unearthly timings and charges look very decent but better to have all the prices in written consent. on the flip side, wont get 24x7 hot water running, unless the hotel has got a minimum occupancy. (what the hell! i had to suffer one day

Starting from the reception the way they received us was very nice .. the moment i said i had made the reservation through mmt they did not show any surprise and they were well informed about us that was really nice.. the hotel was really nice and it is located in a hill and it is completely isolated from the rest of the world.. the hotel sinclairs had a nice garden with a good children playing area.. they had ducks in the garden which was really surprising and my little daughter really enjoyed it.. they have a good indoor games section.. moreover the hotel staff were very couteous which is really good.. the daily travel arrangements they made was excellent..

The hotel is located more than 5 miles from the city up on a hill. the quality of the rooms do not warrant a 3-star rating. there is a multi-cuisine restaurant but it is poorly patronized. the "centralized" room heating system is not switched on till 9.30 pm. a poor imitation of a small room heater is provided on request. on the whole, not what you would expect from a 3-star hotel.
