Hotel regency's usp is its proximity to dargah sharif (walking distance) and to the bus & train station (1 km). The rooms are airy & spacious & the tariff pretty competitive. I have stayed in this hotel both this year & last year and have not found any flaws. tariff - a/c room - double - 850 rs per night double room with cooler - 650 per night. these are rates as of aug 09 , i went there in last week of august. they serve only vegetarian food in room service & have a restaurant in the facility by the name of dawat. The food is well priced & well prepared.

1) is well connected with bus station , train station & dargah 2) a market very close to the hotel for souvenirs 3) food is good. 4) helpful staff 5) complete privacy 6) all basic amenities are provided for including toilet paper 7) the view - downstairs you see the busy road to dargah with lot of activity & if you step out of the hotel & look right you see the aravalli range.

1) please ask them to give you sugar on the side for your tea & coffee as they will make it way too sweet. 2) limited options for breakfast - not too many sandwiches etc 3) please refrain from taking a room in the back, there is no view & you may feel claustrophobic.

Their advise to take the service of a guide(khadim) for the dargarh darshan. They un-necessarily pressurize u to pay hefty amount. Even the offerings like chadar were taken from a specific shop which was very costly.

Exteremely excellent choice for trip to ajmer which is dotted with lot of hotels and lodges. Gives full value for your money and conveniently located near dargah and well connected with other places and other services like bus services for jaipur, etc at few steps away.

The hotel was not value for money as compared to your hotel hari palace in jaipur. Only the same was accomodative due to religious functions to be carried by me.
