The place is simply excellent. For us city dwellers, it gives an opportunity to be away from the noise and pollution amid nature and excellent hospitality of the guesthouse owners, Raju and his wife Lata. My overall opinion in three words : A must visit

The place is simply awesome. I visited in Aug 09 and the apple trees were loaded with fruits. I could not resist myself to "an apple a day". The sound of the gushing Tirthan river is so relaxing that you never want to do anything other than sitting on the stony riverside. There is so much natural beauty around it is just amazing. And to top it all the hospitality of Raju is excellent and the food Lata serves is simply out of the world. The fried fish needs a special mention.

The only negative is the distance from Delhi. I stopped over at Chandigarh for a day. It took us almost 7 hours from Chandigarh. So its a good 12 hours drive from Delhi. Second, the food is so good, you end up overeating and feeling guilty about the calories you have put on.

A great getaway. You could just forget about the world and unwind in the most pristine himachal beauty. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. you can feel the home touch of Lata , the co owner of the property.the bhartis are a great lot and epitome of hospitality. Lata's culnary expertise is beyond compare. you get great Breakfast with lovely fresh fruit from the orchard if appropriate time or home spun juices if it is no fruit time at the orchard. The shallow fried Trout in butter is something else that only Lata can make. It is Heaven on Earth or God's own Backyard, to express it in few words.

Great environment. Lovely nature walks all around. Great trout fishimg opportunity. The bon fire every evening and great company of co guests amongst who invariably you find frangis and desis who are talented in some form of art like music, story telling or sharing their voracious travel anecdots and experiences. There are not too many people there at any given time thus a very peacefull hideout in such a salubrious ambiance.

Can't think of any.
