I went to the hotel in off season i.E. In july so this review should be seen in that light. So though i got a low room rent i.E. Around 8000 per night there many things missing like two of the 4 restaurants were closed and there were no water sports but surely that part was mostly covered by the lovely green countryside of goa in the monsoons. I stayed in a room in the main complex rather than the huts and it had a private sit-out with a view towards the roaring sea. There was a main bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a smaller lobby preceding it. Both the main bedroom and the lobby had 32" lcd screens and all the major tv channels. The bathroom was clean and neat but a little smaller than my expectations. The quality of service was really great and minute details was take care of. The dinner had a buffet and a la carte option, i tried both and had some unforgettable sea and italian food.
I used the gym, which was free of charge, all 4 days and i liked the facilities and the personal coach who taught me a lot in the 4 days about strength training. There is a spa accompanying the gym but i dit not use it. Now about the food, i really can't complain at all about the food. I had 1500 per day of free meal vouchers which was included in the room rent and that was enough to have a hearty breakfast buffet. The buffet was grand with everything from south indian idlis to continental breakfast included. The quality of service was really good and the housekeeping and restaurant staff was really efficient and courteous. The hotel was gracious enough to present me a birthday cake and wine along with a bouquet because they knew it was my birthday in the morning. And they arranged a sea view candle light dinner for me without extra charge. It is another matter that it soon started raining heavily during the dinner.
The wifi internet connectivity was available but for a hefty charge, i think a basic facility like that should be free of charge. The free airport transfer vehicle was not comfortable enough, it was a mini van with ineffective air-conditioning. The bathroom should have been a bit larger. The service was slow in the restaurant on the weekend because of heavy rush of non-guests i.E. People not staying at the hotel but just there for having food.
