I was planning for my honeymoon and i cracked a great deal from the travelguru, where i got 2 days of stay at the resort for just around rs. 8000/- only, on arriving hotel they upgraded our room from standard to deluxe cottage, as they were already full with their standard cottages. What more could you expect.
as it was my honeymoon i was keeping my finger crossed to have the hotel be great, as i replaced it with another hotel since that was sold out at the time of booking. After around 5-6 km of travel via our taxi from munnar city we reached the resort, the location of the hotel was amazing! from the time you enter the resort to going to your own cottage, its really wonderful. Right in the centre of forests, surrounded by tall tall trees and well kept gardens, that's right the name of the resort really matches with what it location offers.
they resort has an indoorgame room, bandminton court, fire camp area where they also play music in the night and often host camp fire event
The location of the hotel which is amazing!
the room(which actully are seperate cottages, two floor, on first one you have the living room and going down stairs to bit underground floor the bed room) elevated to a good view of forest right in front...
the resort itself offers you a plenty of activities/amusements that you can spend a complete day there itself.
the food is also good, those from north yes you might not find that taste still it is good.
The prices are bit on higher side (but keeping in view that they have not crowded the place with numerours building and have limited cottages, so those looking for luxury i would so go and enjoy the place if you can spend)
