Hotel Suraj is a 500+ year’s old Haveli located at a distance of 1.5kms from the Bus Stand ,3 kms from the railway station and 5 kms from the airport. The hotel provides provides magnificent view of Jain Temple, Old City, Fort Houses, Lake and many other historic points of the Town.

Room Amenities: Hotel Suraj offers well decorated large spacious rooms equipped with all the necessary basic room amenities including attached bathrooms and with hot and cold shower (in winter only).

Dining: Hotel Suraj has an inhouse roof top restaurant that provides authentic Rajasthani fare. Visitors can have their food on the roof, in the room or in the courtyard of the Haveli.

Hotel Facilities: Facilities at the hotel include (on extra charge) laundry service, car rental ,motorbike and cycle on per day rental basis, news paper, money exchange, Doctor on call, Train/Bus/Air reservation, Camel Jeep Safaris from minimum of 4 hour’s to maximum of 21 day’s including desert food/Music/cultural dance/ camp fire sleeping in tents or under the stars etc.

Chimmy the owner of the haveli hotel and his family are most welcoming and hospitable. This is definately a place you come firstly as a guest and leave as a friend. Chimmy went out of his way to give me information about jaisalmer and the desert iin a kind and friendly way without any of the hassle or presure you wouild receive in some other places. I would definately stay there again on my next trip to jaisalmer.
