On the whole, it was an unforgettable experience and given an opportunity, i would certainly consider returning to the resort again.
Camelot is a nice, cosy little place tucked away into the woods of munnar. It is surrounded by tea estates and the views from the resort of the mountains and mist rolling in must be one of the best in munnar. The resort has a very homely atmosphere and is very private, especially because there are only about 10 rooms in all. What we liked about the resort the most was the friendly and personal touch provided by the owner himself, mr dilip pottamkulam, and his staff . Our children, aged 8 and 3, had a whale of a time. What more, the resort staff, including mr dilip, even played cricket with my 8 year old son! the food you get there may not be exotic but it certainly is homely and tasty, which is important. There is a play area for the kids with the usual equipment. I felt that the maintenance of the vegetable garden and the fruit garden can be better.
