I would definately recommend my friends, family and everyone.
Excellent resort ambiance was fantastic and very peaceful.
Everything was uoto the mark.

Timber trail resorts has 2 complexes. The main complex where you park your vehicle is located on the highway, the second complex called timber trail heights is located on a hill top across the valley from the main complex accessible by cable car (ropeway). We stayed at the timber trail heights from where the views are breath taking. The cable car ride which lasts approx 20 mins is a good experience in itself.
Location: approx 35kms from chandigarh on the shimla chandigarh national highway after the industrial town of parwanoo

Hotel/Room Condition: the rooms were a disappointment though. squeaky doors, leaking bathroom fittings were a turn off. the heights has a very good restaurant/ bar and a beautiful terrace. cellular coverage at heights was erratic

Food & Beverages: the food was delicious, served hot and the menu offered a lot of variety. bit expensive but it was ample for the number of people.

Facilities: the heights is going through construction work at the moment. a health spa is under construction with extra rooms, cottages. it has badminton, lawn tennis for outdoor games and billiards, chess, table tennis, carrom for indoor gaming and two electric massage chairs for the guests. play area for kids with rides also can be used.

Hotel Service: the staff was very helpful and co-operative at all times. service was fast and prompt

Value for Money: its worth one visit atleast because the heights offers a different experience altogether. its location on top of a mountain and the views sets it aside from other hillside hotels. expensive but worth one visit
