There is no reason for not being satisfied with a hotel like the taj. i was very satisfied with the taj village resorts goa. but when you pay out of your pocket and book a taj hotel you just don''t want to be satisfied, you want to be delighted, right? well, delighted i was with most of the services but not all. hence the rating is just 9. what i liked is that on the second day which was my wedding anniversary day i was greeted in the morning with a cake and a card with compliments and wishes from the hotel staff. evening when i returned my room was done up and the tub set for a bubble bath with orchids and candles. i found this to be very thoughtful.

Location: The hotel is situated in Sinquerim beach which is just 20 mins away from Calangute beach market where you can do and get what ever you want in Goa. The resort itself is beach facing (but not necessarily all cottages are). On the whole not too far from the crowd but still quite.

Hotel/Room Condition: The cottage was awesome. Well kept. And tastefully done.

Food & Beverages: breakfast is worth dying for. All the three days they were able to lay a different spread. Wonderful. The Chef''s special dinner was out of this world. very special, very personalized.

Facilities: It''s Taj, it''s ought to have every facility.

Hotel Service: most services are above average. The checkout was not very comfortable. None of my cards or my wife''s cards worked and they wouldn''t accept cheques. I had a tough time settling the bill

Value for Money: Value for money is something that''s not tangible. All I would say is if the occasion is worth the money go for it. You won''t regret it.
