It was a nice experience for us as we had spent two nights there during 2008. The resort is located in lovedale area of ooty . It is situated on the right side of the road connecting coonoor & ooty. The resort was very well decorated with large rooms and private attached terraces. The resort was built on the slopes of mountain. The famous train track was there in front of the resort and you can view the toy train going beside the resort. Food quality was average . Staffs were helpful. There were shops on the main road but no near by shops. Very good value for money option. Recommended.

We have stayed at sagar holiday resort during our honeymoon in ooty (jan 2008). The resort is perfectly ok for honeymooners as well as couples & families. Location is away from main ooty at grand duff road in lovedale . They have open terrace cottages in mountain slopes. You can maintain your privacy even in open spaces also. Room tariff is also reasonable . Staffs are good & helpful. We had taken car on rent provided by their travel desk , but that was costly. I can still remember the superb dal fry we had taken with our lunch in their beautiful restaurant. Good resort. Love to visit again & again.

Food, and the dining hall was pathetic they never used to change the table clothes...

The only advantage of hotel is it has good view, and that is where negative point starts.The hotel management thinks anybody and everybody would come to them for the view and hence they can get away with any kind of service / behavior.Extremly bad behavior of staff.Extremly unhygenic cheating restaurant.Unclean towels.Poorly maintained rooms.But then you have no choice as valley view is good.Rooms are good but lack maintenance!service is poor.Behavior at front desk is not welcoming.
