The pleasant haveli hotel is a chilled oasis in the heart of the mystic "golden city of thar desert." it offers a world of modern comfort and traditional hospitality including all western standards. Pleasant haveli is situated in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood just beneath the most beautiful sunset point with a magnificent view over the whole city and the fort. The comfortable ac rooms are tastefully decorated in the old haveli style with luxurious bathrooms.

A small but excellently managed hotel with owners both narendra ji and dilip ji personally taking care of guests and going above and beyond to make guests happy. The owners didn't even charged me for mineral water bottles and baby's milk and ensured our stay was comformtable. At the same time they suggest good options on where and how to visit or eat out but do not impose anything on guests.

These are not the negatives really considering the small size of the hotel but something that can be thought about by the management are 2 things: 1) in-house restaurant 2) power backup although power supply in jaisalmer is very good but even if the power goes off for 5 mins, it can be disturbing. the management however covers it up with the excellent personalized service.
