Hotel brightland is situated between the mall road and the isbt stand in shimla, making it a very convenient and accessible location to stay. It is a fairly well maintained and new property with an elevator and a beautiful terrace garden restaurant that is perfect for dining through morning to night. The hotel also has a sightseeing service that allows guests to book cabs at fairly affordable rates. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The food is tasty and flavoured, especially the indian cuisine. The rooms, mostly all have good views of the city and are clean. Also, they have an online reservation facility on their website which makes the whole task as easy as it can get. There is ample parking space for private vehicles and the ambience is very homely and suited to families and youngsters alike. Isbt is a five-minute walk downhill and mall road is a 10 min walk uphill and the hotel is buzzing with activity till usually 10pm on most normal days.

The food and the terrace-garden restaurant was a little delightful find. Also, the staff was extremely helpful and i would definitely go back for the service offered at that price.

Food takes a tad bit too long to come but the view from the restaurant makes up for it. Also, each time one has to leave the hotel, the keys compulsorily have to be deposited at the reception.

Average hotel. Rooms were fine and cozy. Service and staff were below average and rooms had a television. Excellent location.

It was a wonderful experience. I read lots of reviews only after i had done the booking and thought that i might have made a wrong decision by booking this hotel, but all of my concerns proved wrong when we reached the hotel till our stay of 7 days. We went there just to relax, relax and relax and now i can say that we had chosen a right place for that.

A. I was impressed with the type of rooms they have. I stayed in a royal room and was surprised to see that none of their room was similar. They were based on some or the other theme, which gives you a fresh feeling. b. After reading lots of reviews about the hotel, before visiting shimla, i came under the impression that the room service and their food was not liked by 90% of people and i was fully prepared that i would have to either take my own food or eat outside. But when we reached the hotel, because of tiredness we didn't wanted to go anywhere so we ordered the food thru the hotel's room service, and to my surprise, the food was soooo good that (you won't believe), we spent a huge amount on our room service bill and mostly had food in the hotel only. The hotel's map mentioned that its is just adjacent to mall road, but the fact is that you have to walk almost more than half a kilometre which is a very steep walk. I thought this misguided us to some extent. Apart from this everything was really wonderful.
