Located amidst this ancient splendour is mansingh palace named after rajput emperor sawai mansingh, a very close associate of mughal emperor akbar(i'm poor at history, sorry if i'm wrong), where the essentially indian hospitality reaches out to envelope you come stay at mansingh palace and experience agra.
The mansingh palace is a pleasant, modern hotel with a very nice lobby where you can sit for coffee (if you wish). There was a friendly bar with a good choice of bar snacks if you did not feel like using the dining room. The hotel put on a lavish buffet dinner with an enormous range of indian and european food. We found reception to be helpful and the hotel's gardens were tidy and well cared for. The pool is very good and maintained. We got a good offer in the hotel for 2 nights 3 days package costing of 5600 inr. Its costly budget, but the price we spent is worth. We spend our time at hotel itself.
For negative points, i forgot.
