Indus hotel is behind golden temple which is 2 min walk distance. Even jaliawalan bagh is at 4 min distance. Rooms are clean but small. Room service guys are prompt and courteous. Hotel is situated in the heart of the city and market place is also close by.
let me share an interesting event with all:
we booked hotel for 1 night stay and was communicatd that pick up service too will be given. When we reached amritsar, there was a guy standing at the station with our name plate. We were under the impression, we would be escorted in a car but to our surprise, it was a three wheeler... In the first we got stunned and bit annoyed then later we coulnt stop ourselves laughing throughout the way. Getting pick service through a three wheeler... First time in my travelling. Overall it was a good expierence.

Proximity to the golden temple, jalian wala bagh, close to main market place, good room service. Safety.
