Mahindra resort is rated Gold Resort by RCI standards and it lives up to its reputation. Nestled in lush green surroundings, the resort architecture is inspired by local Kodagu style.
Resort offers comfortable stay and multi cuisine dining options. It also has a Spa offering variety of ayurvedic treatments & massages and is very attractively priced. A must try for all visitors.
What however, stands apart is the friendliness of the staff who are always willing to make your stay as comfortable as home.
We also loved the Violinist at the restaurant who had an uncanny ability to connect with all kids. I hope he is around.
What stands out for Mahindra Resort in Coorg is
1. Activity centre which offers play area for kids, pottery, library for books & DVDs, indoor games, adventure activities, trekking options. Would you imagine participating in housie, DJ nites, team games at a resort.
2. The staff is very friendly and goes out of the to make your stay like home.
3. The Spa is great value for money and offers some great massage options which are a must try.
4. Resort has a inhouse shop where you could buy some stuff for your daily needs, like Bread, Cheese, Butter, etc very helpful.
There is very little that I can indicate as things i did not like, however, my only advise is that you must be extra careful about your travel pick up and drop to coorg bus stand since the travel desk (outsourced) doesnt provide confirmation of services till very late.
Recommend you find some local service providers (there is one opposite the resort) and book your travels accordingly.
