A very tastefully designed hotel. Superb ambiance and almost as close to nature as you can get with the assurance of a good nights sleep. The resort is built on the best beach at andaman - radha nagar beach, so you are only 2 mins walk away from the beach.
the way from the jetty to the hotel is a very good drive, almost from between a forest. In rs. 200 we got a full jeep to take us there. Barefoot can also arrange your pickup and drop, but will cost you rs. 350 per vehicle. An auto will cost you about rs. 100.
don't miss the snorkeling at elephant island. Local snorkeling guides charged us rs. 1500 total for 7 adults.
This is what I think about

I liked
-very clean
-excellent washrooms attached in the cottages
-very ecofriendly
-splendid ambiance in mid of a real forest.
-very clean and comfortable wooden cottages
-very good customer support
I didn't like
-the fan cooled nicobari cottages are open. This means you can expect an odd frog, lizard or ants in your cottage. Remember to carry odomos!! i guess the air conditioned cottages would not have this issue
-i would suggest that children be not left alone in the night as they might not be comfortable outside the cottage as it becomes a pitch dark jungle. Barefoot does not use any lights outside cottages so that the forest creatures are not disturbed.
