as shown in makemytrip.Com, i had booked standard room, with a view of the lake ( lake facing) for rs 1758 and confirmed with an agent from yr site, as there was no online bookign option. To my disappointment i was given a standard room with no view at all. After discussing with the hoitel manager, it was brought into my notivce that the hotel while bookign a room from make my trip had mentioned very clearly that the room with a view is not available. There was a direct mail sent to makemy trip. But i was not made aware of this fact. The room they called superior didnt have any view and the size was so small that it was impossible to walk around. The bed was equally small for 2 people.

Only the staff, very friendly people. .
The hotel has no bar or does not serve any liqure. So eventually we had to step out to look for variety.

Good hotel, but very narrow lanes, if some one have big car, very difficult to manevour.

Rajastani rajwadi look.
Too congested area.

I stayed here during a trip to this city in august 2008, would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a mid range clean, up to the mark hotel. It is located about 500 meters for the city palace, 200 meters from the main market of city palace, just about 200 meters from jagdish temple, on the banks of the lake pichola, offers maginificent views of the lake during early morning and late evenings from its roof top terrace. The haveli is about 20mins away from the udaipur city railway station and taking a pre paid auto cost me about rs 37. Facilities: the eleven room property ( newly built ) offers running hot water facility 24 hours, ac and tv in every room, laundry, tour arrangements, very quick and efficient service, the staff is very helpful and courteous. Food: i took breakfast on the first day, but was not too impressed with it. There is not much choice in indian breakfast, rather has loads as per what would suit the foreigners. Priced on the higher side.

Tariff: the rooms are very decently priced, it being udaipur. The standard room ( all rooms are ac) cost me rs 990/- per night. The variation in price is based on the size and location of the room. The room: the standard room was a small functional, exceptionally clean with an attached bathroom. It was cosy and very homelike, even being small it was'nt stuffy or smelly at all. The walls have been decorated with traditional rajasthani artwork that adds brightness to it. The air felt fresh, it looked well scrubbed and the sheets and quilts look very clean and inviting. It got an elevator so no worries of climbing up the stairs really. The bath: it was very basic, but functional and hygienic with a hot water supply. Provided with towels,soaps and water. Look: the look of the hotel is very pleasing as owners have restricted to keeping in harmony with the rajasthani architecture and deco completely. Its a treat to view through colored glass windows.
Nothing in particular. The entire experience was pleasant.

The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The rooms are well designed though a trifle small in size! the bathrooms are clean. The hotel has an internet centre and bookshop attached which is helpful. There is also provision for booking tickets and transport.

There is an excellent vie from its rooftop. The location of the hotel is its usp. Everything is within walking distance.
