Fantastic....Very good room service........Good food.......And above all is the location.............I will give 4 out of 5 marks to this hotel.

Location is perfect and as well as the room service. Also, the enviornment makes it the best resort in the city. One can enjoy the drinks in the pool, which is marvelous.
Quality and quantity of food was not upto the mark. You cccan rate it as 2.5 out of 5.

I differ from the previous bloggers, the reason is that- when we plan for a jungle resort and a trekking event the only thing in mind is enjoyment, taking a bit challenge, ppl talking about rooms, carpets,room service and food is not accepted, we should make sure before a tour that we are going for crying and cribbing over places and rooms or the motive is to live in a jungle resort and do trekking and other events.Retreat anand is a jungle resort worth for a weekend, for a honeymoon,nice and silent and home away from home, nice sight seeing, tiger cave watching, trekking down the narrow lane where lot of lovely pics can be taken.

Pefect location on the delhi -meerut- bijnor- nazibabad- kotdwar - lansdowne route; good nice log house; lovely scenaries. Worth the money.

I went to lansdowne with my friends and family in june 2007 but i didn't stay in this hotel. i stayed at fairydale resort but i did check this hotel out for lunch one day. though the surroundings and the location of retreat anand is beautiful but the services given to us were not at all even satisfactory. food preparation was not good and service was very late. i checked out the rooms and a very bad smell was emanating from the rooms. if you take my advice, never go for it. there are much better and luxurious accommodations available in lansdowne than this one.

I won't recommend this hotel to any one. However, if you want to stay at this hotel. Be prepared for dirty bathrooms, smelling bedsheets..

Hotel located inside the jungle
Everything, rooms condition is very bad, carpet is smelling, bathroom is so bad and stinking and not cleaned since long time. Bed sheet is not changed and dirty. No cook was available so all the time we have to help the cooking staff for food and other stuff.
