Details

Average hotel. Rooms were fine and cozy. Service and staff were below average and rooms had a television. Excellent location.

It was a wonderful experience. I read lots of reviews only after i had done the booking and thought that i might have made a wrong decision by booking this hotel, but all of my concerns proved wrong when we reached the hotel till our stay of 7 days. We went there just to relax, relax and relax and now i can say that we had chosen a right place for that.

	A. I was impressed with the type of rooms they have. I stayed in a royal room and was surprised to see that none of their room was similar. They were based on some or the other theme, which gives you a fresh feeling. b. After reading lots of reviews about the hotel, before visiting shimla, i came under the impression that the room service and their food was not liked by 90% of people and i was fully prepared that i would have to either take my own food or eat outside. But when we reached the hotel, because of tiredness we didn't wanted to go anywhere so we ordered the food thru the hotel's room service, and to my surprise, the food was soooo good that (you won't believe), we spent a huge amount on our room service bill and mostly had food in the hotel only. We tried almost all the dishes in our 7 days of stay at the hotel. c. We stayed in room no. 603 and the view from the hotel was amazing. d. The hotel staff was very cooperative. e. The travel desk at hotel was a good option, no need to wander around negotiating with small travel operators. We booked our 2 day travel to few of the places near shimla. The cab provided was in good condition and the drivers were also friendly. The only thing is they are somewhat high on charges. f. It was very near to the bus stand and railway station (almost half km).

	The hotel's map mentioned that its is just adjacent to mall road, but the fact is that you have to walk almost more than half a kilometre which is a very steep walk. I thought this misguided us to some extent. Apart from this everything was really wonderful.

Very bad

	Except for the location that it is near to mall road, there is nothing to really like about the hotel.

	There are a lot to pen down... to list a few 1. No mobile charging points 2. No proper room service staff

Location of the hotel is good, it is just 10 min walking distence from the mall road, food quality was good but service was average, hotel staff was very warm and friendly.Rooms were clean and well matainted but batrooms of budget rooms were very small. Overall stey in this hotel was value for money also their is one suggetion that never go for map plan in this hotel.

	View of the hill was very beautiful and location also very good

	During our stay first day we found that food service in restrurent was very poor which laterly they improved.
