The cidade's location is near dona paula in panjim, taking it away from the crowds of north goa and it's private beach helps make it a nice quiet getaway. The food at the hotel's various restaurants is quite good, but expensive. Rooms are clean and some of the best rooms have an awesome view of the sea. The pool is quite small but well maintained, and if you're brave then you can hop across for a swim in the sea too. Overall service is typically goan - very laid back. The staff are friendly and helpful, albeit a little slow in answering/delivering requests.

the ambiance is very very nice. The high-end rooms are very comfortable with relaxing views of the ocean. Good food in all the restaurants i tried. They also organize short tours from the resort to dona paula and panjim.
The general laid back attitude of the staff gets a little annoying, but that wears off soon and you get used to it eventually.

Its a good bussiness hotel - centrally located in panjim. However, it is not a resort hotel and that kind of relaxed / holiday atmosphere is missing.

Bussiness conferences areas overlap vacation guest areas like the pool and hence privacy is not maintained for the guests.

the hotel has a bright yellow exterior and is "happy"! the rooms aren't plush but very well done to ensure comfort. There's a minibar and tv. Room service is available but the menu is pretty sad so it's best to head to the coffee shop or the beach for your meals! the bathrooms are neat and clean with towels provided for by the hotel. by goa standards where you can get a slum of a room for as little as rs 300, casa de goa might be a little expensive. However, for the budget traveller looking for comfort, it's great value for money!

Perfect hotel for those looking to be centrally located in goa, yet far removed from the crowd. It's tucked away in a going off the main baga-calangute road. Walking distance from the beach...Though you might want to hire a bike and go further north where the beaches are less crowded. Very easy to reach - ask anyone for directions and you'll get there! if you're hiring a taxi from the airport, look at dishing out between rs. 550-650, depending on your bargaining skills. Hospitable and helpful staff. The speed service as all across goa left much room for improvement.
