 "PURI", This is the place that take not only historical place but known as forth Dham of hindhu mitholodgy (" Moksh dham"). This place has many stories , one of them is very populer. "In Ramayana , When Ram was go to Lanka for battel with Rawana, Brother of Rawana was- Vibhishan, he impresed with Ram and he also Bhakta of Ram, after finish battel Ram came with Sita to Audhya , but before Vibhishan tell to Ram that how can he see you? Ram tell to Vibhishan - I give you "Vardan" that when you want to see me then you came from lunka by sea, at that time you walk on sea like a road, and see Bhagwan Jaganath.... By that time Vibhishana is came every morning to attend "Morning aarti". by this mitholodgy one thing is noticed that Puri is only place that cant hurt by any Tifun or any Chakrwatas, no flood is came in puri....this is an fact, this is prove when we see every Chakrawats, floods, tifoons, Strooms records...."

When we reach puri our plan is frist attend morrning aarti of Jaganath mandir, then after go for bath at sea beach, in afternoon take rest in hotal in evening 5 o clock again go to sea beach for walking , see wonderfull sea also with bargen perchasing monumets from beach....when time is 8 go to mandir for Aarti...after that take diner, and see preveo of your cameras or vidios, and go to bed with good memories....
You give two dayes to puri then take a taxi car to see konark, nandan kanan, chilka, and other places...for this you give three dayes then after you go to mandir and take prasada., by this way your puri trip is give unforgaven monuments is your memories........ 

Now a days we assume that Chardham means Kedarnath,Badrinath, Yamunotri,Gangotri, but actually chardham means  Puri(east),Dwarka(West),Rameswaram(south),Bardridham(North). Here Govardhana Matha is established by Sri Adi Shankaracharya.
Puri is also famous for its annual Ratha Yatra, or "Festival of Chariots", when the deities Jagannath, Baladeva, and Subhadra, are brought out of the temple, and placed in a procession.Main temple is near Swargadwar sea coast.
Temple is surrounded by 20-24 feet high wall and has four entrances Lion,Elephant,Horse and Tiger.

Puri is the popular for sea beach in eastern part of india.It is situated on the coast of Bay of Bengal positioned in a unique place that both sun set and sun rise can be viewed from the beach.
Main place to stay is Swargadwar(Gateway to Heaven),lots of hotels,Bharat Sevashram etc,but we felt it little more over crowded.We stayed at Chakratritha Road.Its cheap,quiet and clean.
We used to trek to Swargadwar (3km strtch by sea coast) to take photo during sunset.I normally tried to  capture the expression of same moment by diff people.Its enlighted us with the various colours of life.

In ealrly morning we normaly roamed around chakratritha beach to capture the fisherman's daily venture.

Puri can be visited throughout the year. It is better to avoid the extreme summer months and monsoon.Peak seasons are october,december.

Sonar Gouranga,R.K Mission,Sakshigopal19kms,Konark(31kms), ,Bhubaneshwar(63kms).sight seeing can be seen through conducted tour or by local bus if you have more tidays in your hand.There are lots of tour operators if you can talk directly to them it will be cheap ,if arranged by hotel person they will take their comiision from them so rate will be slightly more.
  Day1 Konarak,Udyagiri,Khandagiri,Nandakanan,Daulgiri,Lingraj   Temple (Rs 85/- per head onwards)
day2  Santapara,Chilka Lake (50km).Rate you have to check.We had gone on our own by bus to spend one night at Satapara.
    one can take boat ride of OTDC for  2and half hour to 3hr to sea mouth,its worth.  Rs 80/- per person (try to reach satpara before 9:30am).

 I don't know whether I should request this or not.To keep the sea beach clean pls don't throw plastic or other garbage in sea coast area or during conducted tour.Daily 2000 to 3000 bus of tour operators visits the dif places from puri to Bhubaneswar If we will be not protect our tourist place it will turn in to  a garbage city.

 Every where you will get North Indian and South Indian food in reasonable price like thali starts from Rs 25/- .On road side of Swargadwar one can have prawn,crab fry.these will be available in Sea mouth(where Chilka lake met sea) also. there was a food festival in Dec so we had oppourtunity to test diff sweets of Orissa.

 One can see wild Dolphin in chilka lake  on the wayto sea mouth by boat.They took some other island for bird watching(if there are sufficient people).so one cane stay in OTDC bunglow or PWD bunlow(you have to arrange in advance) in Santpara to explore the other island or can go to Beharampur by bus (it cross the lake by ship).
