Surprisingly there are quite a lot of options here. 1. Head back towards Hatkoti from Rohru, and hardly 2kms (500mtrs or so from the pump), you will notice a small path on the left going down to the Pabbar river. Spend time here, it is really very soothing and peaceful. Plus from Nov to May, you get a clear view of the snowed out chansal paas mountain 2. Hatkoti, 11kms from Rohru, has a temple , dedicated to Goddess Durga 3. Head towards Chansal. Cross Chirgaon (15kms) and take the road to Larot and soak yourself in the virgin beauty of this area. In the apple season, pluck apples from the trees lined up parallel to the road. If you want more adventure, trek upto Chansal pass (around 15000 feet high, 3-4hrs trek) or trek to one of the remotest villages in HP : Dodra Kwar : totally isolated from the rest of the world 4. While coming from Shimla-Theog side, you cross Kharapathar. Take the 6km jeep road (doable on a bike) to the Giri Ganga shrine. Awesome place. the river Giri originates from here. The small pond here is frozen for 3-4 months in a year
