City of love, Agra, once the capital of the mughals has a rich historical background. It is the most famous destinations in India. Special feature in Agra is the Taj Mahal – symbol of love, but there is a lot more to visit in Agra, like the Agra Fort and the Fatehpur Sikri. Agra has a historical attachment to Mughal Empire. Shahjahan made Taj mahal in memory of his beloved wife. In his later years, his son Aurenjeb dethroned him, and imprisoned him in the Agra Fort.
Agra for is another milestone of the ancient Indian architecture. View of Taj mahal from agra for is awesome and mesmeising.
Fatehpur Sikri is 40 km away from Agra and is easily commutable by a commercial jeep or bus. Fatehpu Sikri includes a amazing collection of monuments, some of them are, Panch Mahal, the Buland Darwaza, a mosque dedicated to Sheikh Salim Chisti, a tomb for the Sufi saint within the mosque, a prayer hall, the Diwan-i-am and Diwan-i-Khas.
