Cut off yourself from the beaten track of usual star hotels, wide spread buffets and walk away from the crowded beach (where vendors constantly demand your attention ) 10 minutes ahead towards Vivekananda Kendra(ask any localites for this place) .This is an amazing place spread over 100-acre campus which is a natural spiritual retreat by itself. You get inside the entrance and you will see a world of difference.You see the Walls inscribed with Swami Vivekananda’s motivational quotes as’’ Each soul is potentially divine’’.The campus has 24 hours water supply, generator support for emergencies, post office, State Bank of India, dispensary, STD facility, Vegetarian Canteen and frequent free bus service to and from Kanyakumari township.Apart from this they conduct regular yoga retreats followed by so many Rural Development programmes as adopt a village, adopt a granny etc. The best attraction about this accommodation complex is it has a lovely absolute private beach space where you have an unobstructed view of the beach where you can see the awe-inspiring statues of Vivekananda and Tiruvalluvar standing high above the sea .You can go for jogging from your accommodation to the Sun –rise view point. You pass the beautiful beach garden and get to the Sun-rise point. The view of Vivekananda Rock Memorial in the mid-sea at Sun-rise is a deep tranquil experience by itself. This place is more value for money than any other place in kanyakumari for the kind of amenities it offers. For an A/C Double room it will cost only Rs 550 including all the taxes. A refreshing experience far from the maddening crowd of the city life.

HOTEL SINGAAR INTERNATIONAL is a good 3 star hotel facing the sea.They have veg as well as non veg food.Tariff for a couple is Rs 1695/-night.There are good restaurants in an around the beachline.The beach front street shops are recommended for evening snacks and tea coffee stuffs.
