Futala Lake is the best place to spend evening in Nagpur. Its a centuries old lake built by rulers of erstwhile princely state of Nagpur. It is sorrounded by Lush green forest on 3 sides and beautiful landscaped Chowpatty on one side. You can view a beautiful sunset over the mountain across the lake.

Nagpur is also famous for its many lakes and music festivals. The Vidarbha region of Maharashtra has always maintained its distinct cultural identity. The state government sponsors a week-long performance oriented Kalidas Festival every year. The South Central Zone Cultural Centre is a major artistic force in the city. It is instrumental in organizing a host of festivals within the city, viz., the Orange City Craft Mela and the very popular Folk Dance Festival.

Hi Mukesh, If you want to roam around the city then you can visit Civil lines area for old British era buildings. The notable gardens are Ambajhari, Gandhisagar and Maharajbaug (ZOO). This apart the city has lots of recreation places like any other metro city has, be it Water park opp. Ambajhari, Shopping @ Wardha Road or Sitabuildi or Dharampeth, Movies at Multiplexes. The best is to see the sunset over Futala Lake and enjoy Samosa or Patodi at Telankhedi Hanuman Temple complex nearby.
