From Delhi: By road is only 180 km via Mathura on NH-2. By train : Take the 2060 - Kota Janashatabdi express From Agra or Jaipur : By road only. If you travel from Agra, it is roughly 60km and you also can visit the Fatehpur Sikri en-route.

Reaching Bharatpur: Air: The nearest airport is Kheria, Agra (60kms-1 ½ hrs) from where you can hire a taxi (Rs 1200) to Bharatpur. Rail: Regular rail services connect Bharatpur with all the major cities of India. The railway station is 6 km from the park. Road: Bharatpur is on the Agra-Jaipur highway and is connected by an excellent network of roadway services to all the major cities of Rajasthan.
