In rishikesh u have to contact 1 of many camping and rafting organizers as the shops line the street as u enter rishikesh, I highly recommend a very good organizer called RAVERS EXPEDITION, they r very good and very very reliable. They have set packages for u to stay in a river side beach camp and they include activities like River Rafting and trekking and other activities. I recommend u at least do river rafting if u do not have enough time to stay in the camps…take the longer run from shivpuri to rishikesh as it has more rapids and is more funfilled and exciting.
